Our research facility for photovoltaic modules, AI-based monitoring, blockchain energy trading and next-generation renewable energy technologies.
Eletoyia is building Cyprus' first dedicated photovoltaic research laboratory. Planned capabilities include solar flashing equipment for module characterisation, environmental chambers for accelerated lifetime testing under Cyprus-realistic UV and thermal cycling, and a chemistry bench for next-generation cells.
The lab underwrites our long-term equipment recommendations. Every panel we install is a panel we can, in principle, test to failure, which keeps our product shortlist grounded in measurement rather than marketing.
Work here feeds directly into our EU and nationally funded research programme, including AI-based soiling detection and blockchain energy trading prototypes developed with the University of Cyprus.
