Inverters

Smart string and hybrid inverters with real-time monitoring and maximum energy harvest.

What is a solar inverter?

A solar inverter is the electronic component that converts the direct current (DC) generated by your PV panels into the alternating current (AC) your home uses and the grid accepts. It is also the brain of the system — measuring production, managing safety cut-offs, and communicating with monitoring apps.

String vs hybrid — which do you need?

String inverters connect a "string" of panels wired in series and feed AC to the grid or your home load. They are the simplest, lowest-cost choice for a rooftop that faces one direction with no shading. Hybrid inverters add a DC-coupled port for a battery, so the same box charges storage, powers loads and exports to the grid. Under Cyprus net billing — where self-consumption is worth 2–3× as much as exported energy — most 2026 residential installs default to a hybrid, even if the battery is added later.
